What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel your course registration up to 7 calendar days prior to the start date of the class and receive a refund minus a processing fee of $50.
Cancellations after this time frame will be non-refundable.

How can I apply for financial aid? Are payment plans available?

With an initial deposit of $500.00, the balance of the course cost can be split evenly over the 4-month duration of the course.

Are your programs online or in-person?

We offer both in-person and online programs. The online course will be delivered electronically via the Zoom platform. In-person classes will be scheduled as students are registered.
Locations to vary and in-person classes could be transitioned to online at any time given changes with the COVID-19 situation locally.

Are there any pre-requisites for the program?

It is recommended that the student have taken a medical terminology course or have the equivalent knowledge through licensure or experience. A working knowledge of human anatomy is beneficial but medical coding experience is not required.

How do I pay for the class?

Payments for established plans are accepted via Square, personal or business check, Venmo, or directly through this website.

If you purchase through this website, credit cards are the accepted method of payment.

How long are the courses and what do I have to pay for separately?

CPC courses are designed to be delivered over a 16-week period, with a practice midterm halfway through.

Your registration in the CPC Course with Aurora Billing, Coding, and Consulting does not include your Coding manuals or your exam voucher. These will need to be purchase separately.

Coding manuals can be purchased from Optum.com (make sure you purchase the AMA CPT Code book - the professional edition NOT the EXPERT edition, as well as the ICD-10-CM and HCPCS coding book as all three will be used in this course. You can also purchase books from AAPC.com by purchasing the Physician Practice Coder Bundle
